Govt of Andhra Pradesh has released DSC (District Selection Committee) 2008 Merit list district wise. The Government also announced schedule for appointment of 52,655 teachers (12, 252 School Assistants, 30,558 secondary grade teachers (SGT) and 7018 language pandits) who were selected under DSC 2008 recruitment exam. The candidates have waited for nearly two years for the merit list.DSC 2008 Schedule:
- October 30: General Merit List Display
- October 31: Preparation of Provisional List
- November 1: Provisional selection list display
- November 2: Certificate Verfication & issuing of appointment letters for School Assistants and language pandits
- November 3 onwards: Secondary Grade Teachers counseling & appointment letters
